Locational information is not 100 percent clear to me this is what I learned:
Double Bowknot area / Slide Gulch Ravine / Horse Shoe Trail / Old Rail Road / Hoo Koo E Koo
About 40 yards off the trail. Below are two reportings on the location.

Tanya Schevitz of the SF Chronicle: "A Marin County Sheriff's Department's search and rescue team found the body of a female at 1:38 p.m. in Slide Gulch Ravine, sheriff's Lt. Doug Pittman said. "

Marin IJ: "It was in a grove of redwood trees amid dense underbrush about 30 to 40 yards off Hoo-Koo-E-Koo Road near West Blithedale Ridge in Mt. Tam State Park, Marin County sheriff's spokesman Lt. Doug Pittman said. "

Marin IJ earlier: "According to Mike St. John, a captain with the Mill Valley Fire Department and a unit leader for the Marin County Search and Rescue team, the body was found at about 1:30 p.m. in a redwood grove off a trail. Earlier unconfirmed reports pinpointed the site as being near Double Bow Knot Trail and Hoo-Koo-E-Koo Trail"

LATEST UPDATE (Jan. 10, 2008): This weekend an estimated two to four hundred law enforcement and federal agents will be searching Mount Tamalpais with a "never leave a man behind" attitude. Washington DC has authorized the IRS to participate in an official search for Special Agent Veronica Ruiz.

If you come out there too, BE PREPARED. It is not Mount Everest, but you will have to be able to search off trail. Also bring layers of clothes, a walking stick, maybe a knife, map, compass, and some other hiker's gear.
