Latest Attempt to Bring Logan Home
Renowned Psychic Jeff Baker picks up the search for remains
of 6 year-old Logan Lynn Tucker
WOODWARD, Oklahoma. February, 2008. On February 7,8 and
9 renowned psychic Jeff Baker is coming to warm-hearted Woodward, Oklahoma
to help locate the body of missing six year-old Logan Lynn Tucker.
This small community was rocked when Logan Tucker went missing June
23, 2002. His mother, Katherine Rutan, was eventually convicted of his
murder in 2007, though his body was never found. The search for Tucker
began on July 16, 2002 when over 300 people from across the state converged
on Woodward to comb the county in hopes of finding any sign of him,
but nothing was recovered.
Logan Tucker was nearly removed from his home by the Department of Human
Services ("DHS") prior to his disappearance and murder. In late April
2002 Rutan allegedly asked DHS to take her two children. Less than one
month later, and just one day before DHS had scheduled to take Logan
into its custody, he went missing.
Rutan's younger son was interviewed in Oklahoma City and allegedly told
an FBI agent and a DHS employee that his mother took his brother Logan
out to an area in the country. The boy allegedly said his mother had
a shovel and some plastic and that she crossed a fence and went out
into the field. When the boy was asked why his mother needed the plastic
and the boy allegedly responded, "to bury Logan." Unfortunately the
boy was not able to take officers to the specific area where he thought
this occurred. It is hoped that this latest search effort will finally
bring this heartbreaking case to a close.
Members of the community and the Sheriff's Department have never given
up on finding Tucker and searches have continued off and on for nearly
six years. Jeff
Baker is coming in hopes of locating Tucker and finally giving his
family closure. Baker will attempt to use his psychic abilities to identify
areas of interest and then those areas will be searched.
Baker often donates his time and abilities to aid families in crisis
and law enforcement with criminal investigations and missing persons
cases. Baker recently helped the Ruiz family in locating the remains
of their daughter, IRS Agent
Veronica Ruiz, on Mount Tamalpais, a 25,000 acre area north of San
Francisco.
Baker is best known for his appearance in November 2007 on
America's Psychic Challenge on which he was able to locate a boy
on large area in the desert in about one and a half minutes.
